Yeah, one of their suggested 2008 fishing trips to consider, is PI bay Coho fishing. A bit behind the times eh?

I about fell outa my chair reading that the other day.  They do put some good stuf in there about hunting, but their fishing info usually leaves me wanting more.  Wifey got that one going for me again after not getting it for a couple years.   She should've just got me a Gander Mountain gift card.

Field & Stream is still the best outdoors mag out there.  Next to Playboy (in my "office" they usually are right next to each other) it's the best read out there.  Not always in line with my political thinking, but **** good articles, and the photos always get my blood pumping.  Playboy's not bad for that either.

american angler, interesting and good fly tying info.

loomis, when i got my first copy of eastern fly fishing and seen articles about wisconsin, michigan to florida fishing, i called them and asked them how is wisc. mich. and other central and southern states got into the their eastern mag. she said they were testing the market to see if a more eastern mag. is needed. then i looked where the mag. was published... seattle, washington. go figure, just about all the states are eastern to the state of washington.

I don't think its near as good as long ago but i've been getting pa angler for 40 years now. I also liked the pa game news article about the great coho fishing. Wonder how much of the other stuff is outdated.

If i had a lake erie sized boat great lakes angler would be at the top of my list based on the couple i have read.

    Gentlemen,
I get both Field & Stream & Outdoor Life, But I also get Pop. Hot Rodding, and Car Craft, plus The American Rifleman.  So I figure I'll try to combine the best of all of them and build a hemi powered swamp buggy mounting quad 10 ga. autoloaders, so I can troll for pike while hunting geese, on private land, in Montana.
