    Like this even at the $100 price tag.  Irritating having to buy new flares every 2 years when you know the old ones are still good.  And they're not cheap.  I've started bon fires with flares that are 5 years past their dates.  This would pay for itself over the life of your boat.

    irritating yes, but 100 bucks is about 8 years worth of flares. Long term you save money, unless you sell your boat and get out of the game.

    Ewww you have to replace flares?  Mine are from the 60's.  They're heirlooms!
