Lake Arthur

Fished Lake Arthur yesterday and found solid clear 3.5-4 inches of ice on the Muddy Creek finger, Shannons finger, and McDaniels.  Fishing was slow, but several fisherman on the ice.

Didn't see anyone out on Fri. when the old ladie & drove past. MC was flowin purdy good as of 4:00 Sat. afternoon if that is posable, up a 1/4 mile from the lake when I was hiken it with the boys.

The iron bridge gives ALOT!!!! more current to the lake than the old snow mobile bridge of years past so the creek channel doesn't stay safe as long as it used to for the ice dUdeS/ U nO./

Thanks Creel.  You been doing any good?  Any tips.  One question, is that little bait store right up the road from 528 bridge still open this time of year?

Crappie bite has been slow for over a week for me, dink 10 inchers and smaller are being caught, the big dogs are hiding except for a couple a day if you're lucky.

I don't think that bait shop is open, but I can't say for sure, drive by it everyday but never think to look. I always get bait the day before, even the baitshops that are open don't open each day until after the good bite is over. Fish early and/or late.
