Humminbird tranny

I took my boat out for the first time this year a couple weekends back and noticed that my main fishfinder, a hummingbird 365i, is refusing to show any fish or anything in the water column for that matter. The bottom contour will show but no fish. I kept comparing when I saw fish on my trolling motor finder and nothing would show. Any tips? It used to work fine at the angle I currently have the transducer set at and my battery is putting out 12.8v so I don't know if the problem can be attributed to those factors, which is what a lot of websites suggest.

Thanks

The only thing your can really do is mess with the sensitivity.  you could direct your question the the humminbird forums.  They are very good there.  http://forums.sideimagingsoft.com/

if it is showing bottom contour, I would start with checking my sensitivity settings first , if you haven't already.

Did you have the trolling motor unit on there before? Sometimes they can interfere with each other. Try turning the other one off...

I burned about an hour of my last trip messing with sensitivity settings and just about every other setting on the unit. The units used to work fine when running simultaneously. The humminbird forums seem to indicate that this is a common problem after 3-5 years of use (my unit fits in that time frame). I'll adjust the transducer a tick or two before I go out next time and if that doesn't work I might have to go shopping.

    Thanks for all the advice
