Twin Lakes Carp

My buddy got our first carp of the new year, for us, on a Mini-Foo jig this past Week-end, at Twin Lakes. We always get a few on these jigs, which is quite a surprise, setting the hook in what you think is a Trout.It was approx. 30" long & quite a fight on an ultralight rod & 4# line. Even the by-standers were excited watching the fight.  sam

    I'll probably try carp fishing this weekend, kinda tired of trout.

    Tired of trout already? Lol. Same here. Took me about 3 hours til I got bored with it.

    Anyone aware of a carp contest at Dunlap Lake this week(31st). What are the details? Prizes?
