Floatation for Canoe

I have an old Coleman canoe. The styrofoam was removed from the ends because rodents got into it. What can I legally use to replace the floatation? The ends are removable, so I could stuff something in them. I plan to use the canoe to fish on a lake or slow river.

Thank you,

I don't know about the legality, but why not a rubber ball? Or you could stand it on end and use the expandable flotation foam... www.jamestowndistributors

I like the idea of the expandable flotation foam. I can fill both ends.
    Thank you!

What about pontoons, our canoe had big ones on a brace on each side, adds stability too.
