15 hp mercury outboard $300 SOLD

SOLD
The guy who got it, fueled it up and gave it a shot....Fired on first pull
 
 
 
I have a 1964 Mercury far sale. I got this from the estate of a relative.
This motor has been garage kept for +15 years.
He ran this motor in Canada.
Email if you are interested.......I can't believe at this price I still have it...

    Too old for most guys, used to be anything 15 horse or less was a valuable motor anymore there are tons of them for sale. Looks like a nice old motor tho, good luck with the sale...  I would recommend putting Kiekhaefer in the ad title...

    No I haven't Eman. Not familiar with operation of an outboard. Fuel mixture, etc. etc.

    Just DO NOT run it with out having water to it, preferably in a tub but muffs will work. An outboard will shred their impeller in a matter of seconds without water...

    don't run her with out water had one that year in order to change the water pump impeller you pull the power head that motor can be jetted to make 20 hp had a black one ran like a champ many of dinners served up by the work of that motor lots of steelies felt some steel , good luck it will get sold easy, also you can flip the reeds on that unless they break but rare they brake

    With that age, and with out it running.. your looking probably more in the 150 range to be honest. If you can get it running though your price doubles..
