have had far better luck with fat heads my self. but i have had a hard time leaving this great little not so known hole as i can just about catch fish from the time i get there untill time to go home just about evry time but i think where i buy them at may make a difference..anyone else i guess store loyal??

If  u can get your own shiners in your local creek they will work great the bigger the better...

fatheads for me...shiners die too quick, fatheads will swim the hole time theyre on the hook...

Dont matter if there dead salt them and they will hammer them..  try it

Shiners from Poor Richards. You get more than the dozen you pay for, they are decent size & stay alive good for me. I bought some last year at BAC & they were way too small & seemed to die easily. Try shiners & fatheads & make your own choice. In warmer weather, I have had better luck keeping fatheads alive, though. If using fatheads, try using a jig with some flash in it.
