A little info please....

I posted this  in another section of the Pa. fishing board....maybe should be here.
Thanks again....

I'm planning on being in Selingrove area the last week May. What lakes around there would be good for shore fishing. I enjoy fly fishing for Bluegills. So what lakes are not surrounded by private land and accessible to me?? My brother in law suggested Middle Creek, but he's not a fisherman. Any suggestions?
Thanks...

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

pachuckles, Little Buffalo State Park is in Newport. This is a 40 min. drive from Selinsgrove. There is a real nice lake with good panfishing. The Susquehanna river is right there at Selinsgrove and the fishing can be outstanding for walleye and bass and you can fish from the bank. A good spot is just across the bridge in Sunbury. Cross the bridge and turn right and pull in at the river. This is just below the fabri dam.  If you have the time, drive to Little Buffalo, that's you best bet for around here........good luck.
