Anybody need Mink???

I have a lot of Mink Pelts I am willing to trade for other materials...

    Here is a picture of one piece....  



    (The Rod is not included)  Well if the price is right it may be  LOL

    As far as how much i Have  I would guess about 50 Square feet......

    My wife bought it for me at an Estate sale last year It was packaged up with newspapers from the mid 60's

    I would say it's Furrier quality  all tanned and stitched together......

    Paul   As a matter of fact I do have a Stole that came with the deal  LOL  Wife won't give it up though....  She said she bought it for my tying but I suspect the Stole had something to do with it since I haven't seen it for a while   LOL


    I got as couple PM's asking me what I am looking for in trade...  What I am in need of is Dry Fly materials..  Hooks whatever..  I coupd use some squirell Tails...   Partridge ...  Just about anything
     
    I think the best way for me to do this is in 1 square foot chunks  That should last a while Though I could do larger chunks if needed

    Squirrel tails what types you want fox Grey's black,,,,,i have enough of those critters running around.....and i have pheasant tails tons,,, i shoot about 40 a year with the bird dogs!                                                Centerpin_drift

    ok skip you ole fur trader what do ya need in the way of hooks and how many hooks gets me
    a peice of da fur.Well that don't sound good lol. I"LL take the peice with the four peice fly rod growth on it so you aren't stuck with it kinda guy i am.

    I can use Dry hooks 14 and smaller  Nymph hooks 10 and smaller whatever you think is fair will be fine with me

    Well I got enough Elk Hair to last me a long time after meeting doubletaper for breakfast this morning and he should have enough Mink to last him a lifetime

    skip, thanks for the mink. i have enough to make my granddaughter a purse for her birthday at the end of this month.  she'll be the only 3 year old with a mink purse.
