New to Fly Fishing

Hello Everyone,
I am new to fly fishing and pretty much to fishing in general.  I have been reading up on the subject and practicing in the back yard...but I was wondering where is a good place to start geting into the H2O.  I live in Pittsburgh and it seems the only places I know are a few lakes, like North Park or the 3 rivers.
What would folks recommend. I don't expect to catch a lot of fish right away due to lousy presentation, but I do want to be in a place that has em. Any suggestions?

I recently started fishing the fly and I started on ponds catching panfish and the creek catching chubs.  I think ponds are ideal and the bluegills put up one heck of a fight on a fly rod.

I started fly fishing in my backyard also and i think that anywhere theres water is a good place to practice casting, also lakes are a good place to practice your retrieve with streamers
