Christmas for the boat happened back in the spring!
Between the new Bimini, winter cover and the interior rebuild...she (the boat) made out like a bandit!

Yeah...that's because you're a scum sucking, yellow bellied, gun toting, tea bagger...

The little boat got a new yammie kicker, and the Sporty is getting a Fish Hawk this spring.

Getting a new cover in the spring.  Was gonna get a HDS-7 Touch or HDS-8 too, but my house appraisal came in $20k low, so my home equity refinance is more than a little 'short' for toys.

A nice looking boat that I found in Michigan...what do you guys think of this rig & the price that they are asking?  I'm sure it's slightly overpriced since it is a dealership...

That was my first impression...seems a bit high for a 13 year old boat.  It looks pretty clean though and would certainly ride and fish well.  Wellcrafts used to be heavy boats and if this one is too, I wonder what kind of performance you'd get with the Opti.  At 24', it'd probably be awhile before you'd get twofootitis .  If it was mine, I'd want to add a mast, upgrade the electronics, add a kicker and TR-1, but that could all be done later if you wanted.  It's easy for me to spend your money on your upgrades .  I'm not quite so generous on my own boat.

    Decent looking rig.
    Seems fairly well equipped.
Was it a trade-in to them?
If they offer a few months of warranty and would bite on 15K, it might be worth it.

Ask if it was in salt, just because it's in MI now doesn't mean it's been there long. Looks like a nice ride though. It's a 24' but I'd bet the deck area fishes more like a 21' the way the motor bay comes in.
Is that many hours for that motor? Anybody have experience with that engine?

    It looks well kept too...

I think I might be getting a new ice rod! That's awesome. I'm tired of fishing with homemade junk.

Nuke your gonna love that t9.9 and the tr-1 autopilot. I installed that combo last winter.
The two of them will blow you away. Let me know if you need any install help or questions. Be glad to help. I did 2 of these setups last year. The quietness of the yami and handsfree of the tr-1 is awwwwsssooommmeeee.......
And for you guys getting the fish hawk its ssswwwweeettttt....now you will know what's going on down there.

The wife is buying me a set of wire divers. Thanks for the input Ken. The wife is springing for the shimano tekota 600lc's.I must of been a good boy.
I purchased a set of 5 colors for my own present to me. I think the trolling combos should be finally complete. Thank God..

If anybody needs some rod holders for christmas I got some berts for sale under the boating equipement for sale.

We were told only required if for hire and 6 passengers and 3 miles, not 5.
If different, please show link for the information...we would like to read for ourselves!

Didn't think it applied to recreational boaters.
