FIRST ICE
Saw my first patch of skim ice today.. I was driving south on I-79 and there was a patch of ice about a acre or so.. up in the stumps......just sayin........nw/

looking at the accuweather forecast it looks good for ice making weather over the next 15 days. I am thinking by the third week in January we will be on the hard water

Pymy will be awhile...a few lakes will be ready next week if the forecast holds up and the snow accumulation isn't out of control.

The Ice Line was ringing off the hook yesterday.. 1st report....Wilhelm locked up, as ya drive by on I-79 ..2nd Sugar lake off the hotel side is gunna get holes drilled in her today...was told 3 in. of mixed color ice.... Might check the Edinboro fingers today if my work schedule permitts it......Tall boots and a Spud Bar.....nw/

Eaton was a bust today. Shore ice is good but out farther the ice is terrible.
