http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hm3tk-VKr7w That's all she wrote boys, i had a terrific 2 days of hunting at camp. 4 pheasant, 2 grouse, a turkey, and this buck I seen the biggest buck of my life when i was climing my stand with the bow on the ground.

First off, nice buck and even better video. Second, I have a question...always trying to learn. So you grunted to a buck within sight? I've always avoided this, wondering your thoughts. If a buck was within sight I was always afraid he would peg me or get nervous that he didn't see the buck that grunted. My strategy is to wait until just out of sight and grunt softly to try to disguise exact location. This has turned more than a few shooters a complete 180 my direction. Then again, I don't sit high in trees so always very cautious of getting picked out.
By the way, I got an accidental video of my kill shot last night. Will try to post link later. Accidental b/c it was just my trail cam and the buck triggered it about 3 sec before my shot.

Well Clay, Once i first rattled and he came running in he pulled up about 50 yards and started walking the other way. I then started to grunt. He would stop and look then walk but didnt seem to want to commit. There was no way he was seeeing me i was high up in that treee lol. but i had to keep grunting to make sure he walked into that trail because it was my only shot on that side of the tree

Yea exactly. I'm still having nightmares of that buck running passed me while i was climbing my tree. Does anyone know of any self video competitions on any of the sites like hank parker or drury or campbells? I think campbells might of had one last year but i cant find much
