vinny you should be able to pull it back it might hurt your hands a bit but what i would do is you can get that crank that goes on the side of the bow to get it back for you

Stick with what they recommend. The string should last for many years if cared for correctly. Using anything but what is recommended may result in serious injury. Good luck.

ORIGINAL: vinnytobasco thanks parker so the wax will subsatute for the silacone lubercation?and where do you aply the wax? Vinny, the wax works good for the string but thats not the problem, apply the silicone paste on the rails where the string rubs along on, gotta use it or it will tear the sting up in no time at all appl it a fter a dozen or so shots it dosen't have to be excessive jut a little will do.Ray

HAVE TO USE A CROSSBOW LUBRICANT AND APPLY A THIN FILM TO THE TOP OFBARREL BEFORE SHOOTING . THE USE OF RAIL LUB WILL INCREASE STING LIFE OF THE BOW STRING REAPPLY AFTER EVERY TWENTY FIVE SHOTS.

The sad thing is that I know who she is. When I turn the ignition key and Howard Stern is cranked to 18 from the last time I was alone in the Jeep, I quickly press the Sirius preset #1 and switch it to KidsStuff... "Daddy, what did he say that girl was doing... Hey, it's The Cat Came Back."
