I don't have a single site to look at but a killer caddis pattern is nothing more than using a caddis style hook w. colored glass beads and tuffs of fur at each end of the hook. Very easy to tie and very deadly to use. I've used them w/ green, brown, blk, or any dark color beads and rabbit or squirrel as dubbing. You may have to crimp the barbs down on the hooks. Best way to tie these is place all the beads on the hooks first then tie the fur on. Assemble line style.

Go to fishusa.com and type in trout beads they have all types and sizrs.

There will be days when fishing is better than ones optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

I saw at gander mountain on Saturday someone took the time to buy a 99 cent pack of glass beads at wal-mart, put 20 in a pack and sell them for 3 dollars.  Go to the craft section and get the tubes of glass beads they are like 99 cent and u couldnt make enough time to use it all.  Ill post a tutorial on my blog tommorow of how to tie the glass caddis its so simple and cheap its ridiculous.

    Try this...

Get a heavy piece of fluro...cheap stuff like vanish in 6lb

slide a bead on it, tie a knot around it, clip the excess and slide the remaining ones on, lash that to the hook, then create your pattern...

oh **** it, i just gave away half the secret to the skien fly.... SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
