Trail cam pics

I figured I'd start a post for trail cam pics, since know a lot of you guys put cameras out.

I placed a camera on an apple tree last night. Checked the pictures this morning and I ended up getting pics of several bucks but not a single doe.

Nice pics. As soon as I get a tutorial and the time to learn, I can post my trail cam pics.

Nice high rack 8 you got there.  In exactly 1 week I'll be checking my cam.  Hope to be able to contribute to your thread.  We have a few decent bucks on camera, along with bears and some bobcats.  I don't have the pics in my possesion or I would post.  When I pull my chip on the 18th, it will be 4 weeks.  Also hoping to get a good look at the all the hard work in food plots pay off.  The suspense is killing me.

A couple more pics from the next night the camera spent on the apple tree. Looks like the big 8pt eats here night after night.

Ditto on the Big thingie Drake- Had a nice 4 1/2 year old 8 once and my Uncle called it moderate -was the best 8 that had been in that place in years-- Genetics
Shot a 136 lb  spike in the Catskills one time and it was 3 1/2 years old. Got tired of passing and wanted some meat- Hadnt realized in a couple of years there that those small horned ones were mature deer.
Yea now and then in the rut something else wanders through but generally we all kinda know whats decent and whats not where we hunt regular. Can be very different from area to area.

Biggest buck I've ever seen was 2 seasons ago. He was a 4 point. No brow tines. Great big " Y's " on each side. I'm guessin the base was 2 inches or better in diameter. Maybe the person who took your camera card will put it back after they check the pics.

Always wanted to go out West and stick a Mulie - closest I ever got was a decent very mature 4 point like that- kinda reminds me of a Mule Deer rack without those brow tines. The main beam comes out and around turning inward with a large kinda high up and curved forward tine  on each side-perfectly matched too. NOT 2 inches in base dia. though.
Have shot a number over the years much 'better' but always thought that rack was the nicest for some reason.
Imagine stuff like that kinda makes that 3 up rule you guys have to put  up with a real pain.

Amen.  Where I hunt he is not only big, but his class is rarely seen.

haha, that looks an awefull lot like a picture of a wall poster.  So I would say that it scores roughly 18" X 24".   Am I close?

Used to scout all year-watchem grow during the Summer and pattern them too. Had a decent size  pvt property all to myself.
n   Some years  ya could go out and be in your spot and he came like clockwork.
Other seasons though he would disappear- not 'come home' till the very end of the season in Dec.- right back to his old haunts too--home ground.
Used to enjoy picking out ONE and that was it. NEVER took a Doe in that area either- live bait.
Learned to kinda appreciate those guys and always waited them out- some years went hornless that way but most often- they returned.
If that guy was in my area- THE ONE.
When rutting season approaches some of those guys travel  and travel and travel and travel----
Aint like the Supermarket where meat is always right where ya expect it to be.
