Ice predictions...what do you think?

Ive been on another site the past few days and it seems they have ice predictions so i thought why not try it here..

this is for ice thats fishable


Here are my predictions

Bay of lake erie- jan 20
Lake pleasant- jan 8
lake lebeouf-jan 10
presque isle ponds- jan5
edinboro lake- jan 15

those are the only ones i can think of...post yours and we'll see who comes closest...

    I hope to be on the ice next Sunday.  Of course, it will be a further drive than the bay. w_w.

    Is that Presque Isle Bay you call the bay of Erie

    Pres Bay Erie                   - feb1
    presq. isle ponds              - jan14
    lake wilhelm                     -jan 25
    kahle lake                       - jan14
    the puddle in my driveway -possibly tommorrow
     
    i dont think well see much ice til late in january

    I'm with nightowl on his predictions. They just said on the news that January is going to be warmer than normal

    just talkin about that tonight. imo if you plan on doing any amount of ice fishing this year, get a NY license and plan on doing a bit of driving.

    Sherry has a pic of guys on the ice on Kahle on Jan 29 2007,we were there a few days earlier than that and there was around 3" then.We went out later that day to Kahle,caught a few.it was the first day using my vex.I watched the dvd again the other day.We don't have a boat so the only fishing with electrnics we do is thru the ice.

    I'm gonna fish more and work less.

    I hate this, no ice to walk on but too much for open water fishing.

    Friends have been fishing Sugar Lake. 4-5 inches of clear ice as of 12/30 getting some perch. Also heard of 4 inches on Tamarack.

    We have about 5" of snow in clarion now.kahle had a skim of ice on 12/29.

    I'm gonna fish more and work less.
