Conowingo Lake

Caught a bunch of catfish and a few smallies on Saturday 5/12. Anybody else fish Conowingo Lake? Are there any maps available out there? Thanks.

There's a shop in Lancaster that has maps. Here's the link. http://sfttackle.com/
Where did you launch? Everytime I think of heading over that way, we seem to have big rains. I hate dodging debris in the river.

I've launched at the Peach Bottom Nuclear Power Plant twice now.  Once in the winter and just a few weekends ago.  I was told that they place docks at the two launches but, they weren't in two weekends ago.  Maybe they will put them in after Memorial Day.

I've never launched at the power plant. Surprised the docks aren't in yet. There's a launch closer to the dam, owned by the power company, but managed privately. That's where I have launched. I'd like to give the nuke plant launch a try. Where abouts are you from? I'm in Wagontown, and usually either fish Blue Marsh or the Susky Flats.

I have a 2011 Tracker V-16 Walkthru with 60HP Merc four stroke. I traded a 19' Starcraft in on it last year. I'm retired and do a lot of traveling to fish. Was in Florida in Feb, and VA in April, now on to Canada. Although I miss the larger boat while on the water, towing, launching and fuel consumption with the smaller boat makes things easier for me.

Fished Conwingo Lake yesterday in the heat from about 5pm-9pm and only manged two bass.  I couldn't believe that we didn't catch any catfish!  Didn't even mark many fish.  Expected the water to be much clearer since it hasn't rained in some time.  There was alot of debris in places.
