Recurve bow circa 70's George Harper info

George Harper was my father in law. He made recurve bows as long as I knew him. They were made in his basement, mostly of his own design. Not sure who Tom might be, but we recently found a box of receipts from just about every one he sold. The arrows too. We would be happy to pass along any information we can if you are still interested. Your post from Aug. 21, 2011 was forwarded to us from Our daughter today.

HELLO MY NAME IS RICHARD AND I JUST PURCHASED A VERY NICE OLD RECURVE BOW AT AN AUCTION IN WESTERN PA THAT IS DATED 7-29-71 AND WAS HAND MADE BY GEORGE HARPER. VERY NICE BOW THAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE CRAFTSMAN WHO MADE IT. ANY INFO YOU CAN SUPPLY WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
