If I don't use my hut I use the sled. It's an older model than this one.

That no doubt does well on the ice, but how does it manage being pulled through deep snow? ORIGINAL: nw/jigmaster Just wondered what people use to haul their stuff out-on.. Figuered I would call Mine the Fillet Flyer

No way that goes good in deep snow unless you can keep the front end up. I had a similar thing n it went like crap in snow and it would only go straight no turns at all unless you lifted it or went on the side n pulled it.

Al, Did you have that last year? I have some polyproylene knives from Hamermill if you would like them to attach to the bottom of those ski's i know on my old ice hut it certainly did glide with that. It's about the width of a ski.... Denny

I just either use my Clam Nanook if I have the kiddos with me or I use my Frabil Recon when by myself. I am looking at getting a sled or if I can find the old Frabril shuttle sled for quick outings with quick movement on the ice. the Alaskan

NW... FYI the front half of your shanty is missing. It will block even more wind if you replace it. I just finished building the biggest one I've ever built. It's a collapsible 3 man that opens both length and width wise. The fold out sides turn into bench seats. The platform is 2 ft. off the ice an has snow skis on the runners. It pulled fine in 2 ft of snow in the yard, but haven't had it in deep snow covered ice yet. My only issue now is finding 2 more guys that want to go. My daughters aren't as excited about ice fishing now that we finally have good ice. I've just been using my 1 man. I'd post a pick, but it's not that impressive all folded up.
