yellow creek lake

Any one on here been fishing there lately? I am thinking of going up this week to get a early start on the pike fishing. I just talked to the owner of Riddles bait shop. She said that the ice is gone but very few guys out.Also they don't have bait & haven't had any customers since Nov.. I did well on them last year & am ready to start again. sam

    Just got in from Yellow Creek Lake,beautiful day to be out,no ice that I could see & only seen 3 others fishing. Water was up,but pretty clear.I went to my early season hot spot,wasn't so hot,only got 1 follow on a Johnson's Silver minnow with a trailer,but it didn't hit. No hits floating a chub. Didn't even get a bass,which is unusual there. sam

    I fished there years and years ago haven't been back since. Let me know next time you go Sam if i'm free i would defiantly join. Ed
