Cars kids fishing pole set up

Got my Grandson a Cars childs fishing pole for christmas.

Seems in unwrapping it the package with the instructions is gone missing.

How do I get the line from the reel inside the capsule?

I will have to use some washers and a nut and bolt to make a practice weight. LOL

Sorry, the only other rod that I have is very different. It looks like there is a hole in the half way point of the radius of the metal cover which has a spring the tension it down. There appears to be a spindle in that hole.

The line seems to run from the spool under the metal cover. Where is the line supposed to go? Should I unscrew the nut on the metal cover?

How do you run the line through the hole in the plastic front capsule?

I do not need to respool it, I need to get the line that is on the spool from the spool to the rod.

There is line on a spool that is behind a metal drum that has spring tension on it. This is all with the plastic capsule off. How do I get the line from the spool to the rod?

Does it somehow go through the drum? Does it go around the drum and rub against it?

Sorry I am not any type of fishing equiptment expert. The instructions that came with it were accidentilly thrown away.

If the line is stuck inside the spool takeoff the front cover under the plastic cover, take some line loose put the inside cover back on thread line through to plastic outer cover. And you should be good to go. If that makes sense, I don't own this style reel ne more or id post a pic.

Push button on rear as if you were going to cast, this will give you room to get to line. Then feed line thru front reel cover and twist cover back on.
