I hear ya brother... honestly, having grown up in jersey my whole life... I can honestly say that southern tier NY drivers put jersey folk to shame when it comes to driving... it is a cut throat battle when it comes to driving the thruway below harridan toll and 17 between harridan toll and I-84...

Gonna have to keep my eye out for AB...

The exception in the North is on the Northway between Exit 14 and Exit 19.  Supposedly the best income area for catching speeders in upstate NY.  However, if you are a law-abiding citizen when it comes to Speed Limits there should be no problems.
Only other speed traps they need are for the snowmobiles on Saratoga Lake and Sacandaga.

Hey ed, it seems as if 80a mph is the magic number... have been told that from a few troopers myself...

Hey CF, I've never snowmobiled myself but it must really blow getting a speeding ticket while out on the trails. Btw, are youbringing your sleds on the 25th gathering?

havent got one yet.i think the state limit on a sled is 35.the worst part is its a registerd vehicle and violations go on your record even a dwai.if there is snow it would be fun to bring them i haven't even started them yet!

yeah man, I imagine that's pretty tough... I know I would definitely be inclined to push that baby much higher than 35... maybe its better off that I don't own one..lol

The snow up in tug hill region has been hot and cold. About 2 or so weeks ago there was a 16+ snow fall in albion.... I imagine redfield may be a little better... never judge the snow totals from Pulaski though.... they can have 2 inches while surrounding areas just a few miles away can have 2 foot... id "predict" that last week in feb will have piles of snow though... its just a matter of time at this point...
