Golden Stonefly

Trying to tie up a decent Golden Stone Kaufman style.
Biots bust my balls, big fingers.

    I hate biots too, but it looks like you did a good job on those ones, to me.

    Unfortunately, to use such a beautiful fly you'll have to take the dry off and nymph for a while.

    nice looking nymph bings. too pretty for me to feed to a fish.
     
    i make a small dubbing ball or just thread wraps at the bend to separate the biots.

    Just sneak it in on a hopper/dropper.

    that is a great tip, thesame technique works well with micro fibbets on tails for dries and spinners...

    Nice tie bings....
