Winter cats

Was out on the ohio the other day. The flatheads down are in the log piles. tough fishing and TONS of snags but did land a few fair to decent fish. Man getting the flat's to hit you really have put the bait right in front of them. Anybody else been Cattin?? Dave

I wait for 55 deg myself. I stick to trout walleye and panfish in winter. How the heck are you finding these fish? Sidescan? Camera?

Yea they don't come cheap. I was looking at them last year and didn't want to pay the big bucks. I thought they may come down if I waited another year but that's not happening.
