blaze orange

learned two new things about waterfowl hunting today at pymie. The first one is you can hunt in blaze orange hats and vest with no decs if you stand on the edge of the field hunting over other peoples decs. The second thing is that a 12g shot gun can hit a bird at 250yrds away. Don't know what people think when they do that but it went on all day. When the geese would come in to our decs three guys would stand up in the woods and the birds would flare and climb over are decs then they would start shooting, wass thinking if they see we didnt shoot they must be to high but not for their 12g shotguns must be good out to 300yrds.. Whats up with that

First of all welcome to the wonderful world of 99% of Pymy waterfowl hunting. These are the same ones that complained that the lake froze so early last year and all the birds were gone by the end of the season so the game commission caused the duck season to close so early this year. It used to be only weekends that had guys like that and I would have the entire lake to myself during the week, but this year I had those types every day of the week this year. I missed very few days of waterfowl this year ( I worked almost all second shift so I got almost every morning off) and dealt with them all season. And they wondered why I killed bIrds but they didn't. Cause I shot at birds 20 yes away not 200!

The worst day hunting or fishing will always be better then the best day at school or work!

Oh yea I was ****ed at first cause I had two jr hunters with me an it was there first time and I told them you have to see there feet, an not look up until I say they, did just fine. So I handed them some goose calls and told them to start calling just to get under there skin and see if they would leave but that didn't work and then the boys started to catch on to clucking which was good for my ears ,,, as it turned out they had a real good time and want to go again so it wasn't all bad

It's probably someone who shoots 3 1/2 inch shells from a 12 gauge. They think they can shoot down an airplane with those things. Stay away from Murderer Row in Linesville. You'll see 15 guys shoot at one bird and then fight over who shot it.
