Updates anyone?

Nice shootin' Eman! Pretty addicting stuff isn't it? I loved it so much when I started 6 years ago that I sold my bow.

Only had about 2 hours to hunt one evening last week. Didn't see any, but where I hunted was more of a morning feeding puddle. Was hoping some might have spent the day there, and was hoping for a little jump shooting, but it was empty.

Gonna head out Monday morning. Been seeing a lot more ducks around in the past 2 weeks driving around. Should be a good hunt.

Heading out in the AM for a bit, before the festivities begin for the day. Ever since I was a kid, I've always hunted something on Thanksgiving morning. Even though my wife isn't thrilled about it, it's a tradition I've tried to keep going. Hoping my son will tag along with me tomorrow.

Got one greenhead on Monday morning, and should've had another. I have a bad problem sometimes, that I've had on my last 2 hunts, and have had in the past. I get too excited on multiple birds and don't slide my pump all the way down. Enough to eject the spent shell, but not quite enough to get the second shell in Pretty sure it's me and not the gun.

Anyway, did a little driving around this morning. Definitely more ducks around today. Think some came down on this little cold front we got today. Also saw the first flock of high flying swans heading south over my house this afternoon, so going by past experience, there should be some fresh ducks around.

Got skunked this morning.  Was hunting a little puddle that had been the X for the local birds.  Think they have joined up with some of these newer birds, and the X is now about 1/2 mile away.  'Bout 50 of 'em sitting on another little pond when I was done. 
 
Or I may have educated them.  Either way, gonna back off of that spot for a few weeks.
