Left It In The Woods

I left my Special Golden Estrous hanging from a branch today in the woods on accident. Do you guys think this could hurt my hunting situation? I wont be back in there until tomorrow morning either.

Early to bed
Early to rise
Fish like hell
And make up lies!

I doubt it.. in fact it may help keep a big guy hanging around all night searching!!!!

I just came in from my evening smoke break and heard a buck walking and snorting in the woods right behind the house.. DANG.. no flashlight with me .. bummer

with the time change tomorrow I am down to next Friday after work and Saturday after work.. 3 more hours... not to excited about those odds

    tampons

holy crap!  never occurred to me.  sterile.  easy to keep my scent off.  very portable.  thanks for the tip.  a hell of a lot cheaper than buying wicks from hunting stores (there are boxes of the **** things in the bathroom now, so they're free.... for me)

I just need to make sure my buds don't see them in my pack.  I don't need those jokes.

Make sure they don't contain a perfume scent. Scent free is what you want other than the lure it self. Wear rubber gloves and boots. Don't over use and don't leave in the woods over night.

Cottonballs and film canisters or pill bottles work well too.

Reminds me of a prank that we pulled on a guy that was always stroking us about being so lucky because my buddy & I were doing so well in bow season. First off this guy wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer,so it wasn't too hard to trick him by saying how to draw in the bucks using tampons but not using Tinks, if you know what I mean. Then we told him to hang them around his blind.Although now I cringe when I think how crude we were, I still can't help laughing about. when he told us his wife caught him sneaking them out of the house. For some reason he didn't speak to us for about 6 months. sam
