Rude Fisherman At Burt

Went up to 18 Mile Sun-Tues...saw some of the most inconsiderate fisherman I have ever encountered in my life. On Monday..two particular individuals...an older man, and his son (wearing a black cap), both wielding long rods and center pins thought they owned the entire pool at the dam. I witnessed them chew out an older, bent over gentleman who tried to fish near them. They jumped me for walking up the path behind them...thought I was trying to step in???  Would love to take my son there...but with all the filth that I heard spewing out of their mouth...I wouldnt dare. If you were there on Monday, at the Dam, I am sure you know who I am referring to.  We are all there to fish...there are lots of fish...lots of people. You can expect tangles...snags...and lots of fun. Just dont think you have the right to take over the hole and try to tell people they cant fish. Go somewhere else, if thats the attitude you have. They were downright belligerant, and very, very foul mouthed.  I was like come on...these are just fish..and the salmon are half dead. The others arent worth eating anyway. Maybe they had too much mercury in their systems. Maybe thats why I saw the DEC down on the stream carrying AR15's that evenin'??? Fish arent worth fighting over.  God Bless.

Nothings changed fished burts Damm way back when snagging was legal. Talk about a circus,I would fish for brown trout and got some 12-14 pound fish, just beatiful in the fall, but the snaggers where a different breed.
