Help with Slinky Weights

I'm trying to make   slinky weights. I purchased some parachute cord  (550 Type III) and find I can't get any thing larger than a size BB shot to fit inside the cord.  Are there different types of cord?  If so, which one should I be using to get a 00 or #4  Buck Shot to fit?
Thanks!

Trying to find the bigger para cord is like trying to buy enriched uranium...pretty tough.  One option is to search online tackle shops from the northwest...they use slinkies a lot out there.  Another option is to go looking for fat shoelaces that are hollow.  There are a couple of brands out there that are fat enough to allow buckshot and they're surprising tough.  I have quite a few well used slinkies made out of shoelaces.  Just make sure when you buy them that they're hollow...you can tell by rolling them around with your fingers...good luck.

    LDD,
Thanks  for the tip.  I contacted a tackle shop in Oregon and they have what I need.
