1st Buck With a Bow
[image]  [/image] [image]  [/image] Well i got out of school and figured i would go out. Made it into the tree at 4:00 figured i would sit til dark. At 4:15 this guy comes fedding through. He came in to 10 yds before i drew on him, quartering away, i sent the arrow. Double lung, he ran 100 yds and fell. It feels great to shoot my first buck with a bow! Espeacially on a 15 mintue hunt!!!

I shot him and he ran pretty hard but iknew i put a good shot on him. I left and got my dad and one of my great friends (my boss) haha. came back in an hour only to find out that he went 100 yds. perfect shot, passed right through with a blood trail a blind man could follow.

Congrats on your first buck bow kill. My thoughts are ANY deer killed with a bow is a job well done.I rather kill one with a bow than 100 with a rifle.

Exactly how it was...the doe i shot last year was eciting but man a buck is wayyyy better.
