New Project

Building myself a new Steelie rod.
Batson Rainshadow RX7 9'6" 7wt. w/FB.
Hope to finish wrapping tomorrow.

    You'll be happy with that stick. I did one and like it just fine. Doesnt get out much anymore but it looks good hanging in the basement.

    The part I always found tedious was apply the finish to the threads not the wraping itself. The rod looks killer Bings good luck with the rest of the build.

    The epoxy is my hardest part also.
    Trying to keep the dust down and the air bubbles just **** me off.

    Bings stir your epoxy with out adding in any bubbles until its clear. i alway warm mine with a lighter when i put it in the fiol lined cup. It thins it alittle takes the bubbles out,
