Morning Music

Going to start putting these here , don't want folks to think I'm clogging up their fishing sites.. To me however fishing & music go hand & hand.. One and the same..

sooo................
Everyday I get something sweet , kind folks who share the love of music..

Today this just seemed like the one.. Really made me miss Jerry.

In a bed,in a bed, by the waterside I will lay my head
Listen to the river sing sweet songs, to rock my soul

Croce, 30, Maury Muehleisen, 24, and four others died in a small commercial plane crash on September 20, 1973, shortly before his ABC single, "I Got a Name", was to be released.

Croce had just completed a concert at Northwestern State University's Prather Coliseum in Natchitoches, Louisiana, and was flying to Sherman, Texas, for a concert at Austin College. The pilot and all passengers (Croce; Muehleisen; Croce's booking agent Kenneth D. Cortose; George Stevens, the comic who was the show's warm-up act; and Croce's road manager Dennis Rast) were killed when the plane crashed at around 10:45 pm EDT on September 20, 1973, about an hour after the end of the concert.

Upon the 10:45 pm takeoff from Natchitoches Regional Airport the Beechcraft E18S plane did not gain enough altitude to clear, and the pilot did not maneuver to avoid, a pecan tree at the end of the runway, which investigators said was the only tree for hundreds of yards. The flight conditions were reported as dark, clear sky, calm winds, five plus miles of visibility with haze. The official report from the NTSB[6] lists the probable cause as pilot failure to see and avoid objects or obstructions with factors of pilot physical impairment and fog obstructing vision. The report remarks that the 57 year-old charter pilot, Robert Newton Elliott, had severe coronary artery disease and had run about three miles to the airport from a motel, may have suffered a heart attack. The pilot had an ATP Certificate, 14,290 hours total flight time and 2,190 hours in the Beech 18 type.[7] A later investigation, source unknown, placed sole blame for the accident on pilot error due to his downwind takeoff into a "black hole".[8]

Croce is buried at Haym Solomon Cemetery, in Malvern, PA.[9] Muehleisen is buried at Saint Mary's Cemetery, in Trenton, NJ

Amazing! He should still be with us....bums me out man.

Today's morning music is By Me.. A band I was in from 1989>90 called One Too Many.. Great musicians.. We did a studio Reel Tape in 89 that came out great but sadly we parted ways in early 90..

This song was co-written and played by myself.. It's Called :
    "My Forty Four"
I threw together quickly some still photo's of mine and it really was a rush job but came out ok, it was more about getting the music out.. Hope you enjoy..

Thanks for the re-visit.. Cat is one of my favorites, I'll admit it.. I was torn when he hung it up for another way but once again he is back at it.. I have a great video of him playing on The Chris Isaak Hour show which aired on The Biography Channel
    Original Airdate - April 9, 2009..

as you may notice the music I have been trying to putup mostly obscure or people I myself have played with..
Raif was a great one for sure and it saddens me everytime I think of him being gone..
I will try to make another still video of some other songs I have done but it takes time..
Sure wish we could just share the music freely in a better way..

Thanks again for the old Cat !!
