still to early for the creek. people are starting to see them on the piers at night and early morning. you can use jigs under a float but I wouldnt when the salmon are running plus you can have only a certain weight of lead  for jig heads i think its 1/8 oz but id read the regs before i tied a jig on in the slamon run. Alot of guys use skein or eggsacs. the water is just not cold enough. a solid run wont be for at least 2 1/2 weeks depending on rain and if it stays cool. kings are being caught in the salmon river and lake still

it is pretty much like that everywhere when the salmon and browns are running untill it gets cold then most of the clowns go home for the year. I go about 3 or 4 days a week untill it gets to crowded then go other places that are less crazy.
