    im not sure but i think hes looking for a portable/battery powered...is this unit strictly for a boat? or can it be used with batteries?

    Guess that counts me out. I have a 987CSI with gps antenna puck included for $600. I upgraded to a 997 so this one is for sale.

    Took this off my boat a few weeks ago. Works great and cheap. $25 pickup or $40 shipped TYD.
