Timmy pulled his traps awhile ago, too much time huntin. He's gonna start back up after rifle season. Think he got 5 coons the last week he had em set. He's gonna start after Muskrat also next week.

I'm gonna have to start up a deep freezer just for his pelts & bait (fish remains)

Cooked up his spring Gobbler last night to make some room. Was gonna save it for Christmas but it had to go.

a guy told me they were supposed to go up to $20 but I hear that from someone every year, then they get a big suprise when they take em in. I imagine there not even worth $5 but i havent taken any in for a long time. the kid that told me this year that the prices were going up, went out and bought all kinds of stuff and thinks hes gonna make a living off it or something. haha. trapping/hunting coons is just a hobbie nowadays. you best not quit your day job because you read in a magizine that prices are "skyrocketing". Im done for a while. my english coonhound is getting to old for that crap anyhow.
