HENS

The last few years i been hell on calling in hens.I bet with in the last 3 years a called in a couple dozen of hens but none of them brought a tom with them.Is it easier to get a hen to come in or what?

    Live bait. Shot a bearded hen once on a  Uncles farm.(legal here) He was upset about a darn hermaphradite on his property.

    I don't turkey hunt every year, or all that often in the years I do hunt.

    But I have called in 2 red foxes. Once almost 20 years ago, that was on a dead run to where my dad and I were set up. Once this past Saturday, that was sneaking through the field behind me and got to within about 30 yards.

    I either sound so awesome that the foxes think they have an easy meal coming, or so horrible that the foxes think I'm a sick, dying turkey
