Fishing NY side of Kinzua

Ive heard that you need a permit from Indian reservation to fish NY side of Kinzua. Anyone have any info on if this is true? How to obtain one? Do you also need a NY license to fish the reservation?

Any info will help.

    YES, it is true. And it is strictly enforced. You do not need a NY license to fish the reservation; however, there is a part of the reservoir that is in NY and NOT reservation water. Plenty of places up there sell 'em. 45 Bucks...they're still ticked off about that bridge we sold 'em.

    I think the majority of the H2O on the NY side of the line is "technically in the Reservation". If you need the license, they sell them at Grizzly Gary's in Warren, right across from the United Refinery.

    They should have maps where you get the license.
