I'm from southwestern pa and i was wondering how the weather and fishing is?

The fishing and hunting is pretty good not so bad!!!

    Obviously it depends on the day.  Conditions frequently change by the hour.  Checkout the "weather and waves" link, plus the fishing reports page from the home page.

    It was fine this morning at Walnut.  Good flow and plenty of earger fish early.  Once the crowd showed up and started pounding them with flies and bait, they pretty much shut down.  It is raining right now and we are supposed to get some rain and snow the next couple of days.  That should keep the streams at a good level and cooled down.  The temperatures will be dropping in to the upper 30's and lower 40's for day time highs by the weekend.  Winter is knocking at the door...  Good luck when you come up. 
     
    BTW- light orange #14 glo bugs were the bomb this morning, while they were biting.  Hooked up with a silver/gray bugger and a green butt woolly worm.
