I'm trying to help a kid out
I met a guy yesterday at the shop I got some wood from and he asked me what I was using it for... After telling him I did custom rods he told me his son thats 16 years old has gotten bit by the fly tying bug.. He said he is going around the house clipping fur from everything including the Dog LOL
I'd like to put together a kit of sorts to give to the kid.. I thought I had an Extra vise here but some other kid must have gotten it...
What I'm asking for is any extra tools or material you guys have laying around that you don't need or use anymore
I have a couple Bobbins and some other things....
I am willing to pay a few bucks to help the kid get started...
I know there are a bunch of good people on here so I figured Hey why not ask

Hi,(Im the kid) Im Brent Weston, and my dad got the wood for you. I Thank you very very much for everything you guys have put together to give me, that is a lot of fly tying material that i will surely put to use. I really dont know how to thank you, because you guys have given me so much, a reply doesnt seem like enough. But Thank you. I plan on reading the books, and fly tying steps and stuff to help me get better at tying and fly fishing. Now all i need is a fly fishing pole so i can go hit the creeks and streams.
