CR500  For his outstanding work the whole year. Some of the punks on here ,here is a true sportsman and a MAN in general. Take a good look at this man and learn what this board used to be like before all you hotshots got here. You clowns couldn't carry this guy's net for him!  Grow up!

T.T.,
As a nominee I'd like to 2d, 3d, or 4th CR500s' nomination.  It is a thrill to be considered though.   Maybe next year: if I can get Hooters' Girls to be the waitresses at the Fall One Fly , , , , Ya never know.

My vote is for CR500.
Scott initiated the Terry Project and kept the ball rolling to the end.
Other projects (prize donations, the bench and plaque at 20) evolved from our wish to remember Terry and everyone involved in those is deserving of an honorable mention.
It's kind of ironic, but Terry's spirit gave us a sense of community and oneness, that is sometimes lacking here on the boards. If we could keep that going, it would be a great way to, always, have a little bit of The Crip with us.

Guys,

Thanks for the kind words but they really aren’t necessary.  Long before the raffle this whole thing started out as a fishing trip to the shore with “T” and a bunch of board members, when “T” got sick that was out and then we went to building him a pair of rods that would fit his needs.  In the end we ended up with a raffle.  Somehow my name got tagged with this thing and that just isn’t true.  There is one guy that specifically asked to have his name withheld since some board members really gave him a hard time.  Several hundred dollars worth of stuff donated and he also kept to the background to help keep the project on the right track.  He was far from the only person that is in the background and I won’t even try to mention them all.

I appreciate everyone’s good intentions but if there is to be praise, congratulations or awards, I think the proper place to direct all of those thoughts is to “All members of the “T” Project”.

Thanks again for the kind thoughts and words but I’m pretty sure that “All members of the “T” Project” is the proper group/person that should be thanked for the effort.

Scott

Scott,

While others did help you, you did the lion share of the work, but if you would like, I don't know if there is any reason not to have a group award if you think it is worth it.  The only rule I know of for this is that once you have won you are no longer eligible.  Maybe an award to the members of the T project is in order.

Gentlemen,
I fully agree that Scott should get the award.  The "behind the scenes" people needed a frontman to take point and Scott did that admirably.  He took many suggestions and combined them into one cohesive idea and then he carried the idea through to fruitition.

Maybe the Golden Old Booger Award, but not much more.

Maybe the Golden Wooly Mammoth Award?

The Golden Oral Flatulence Award?
