Kinzua gate openings, water coming out

Any advice would be appreciated on the best time to fish below Kinzua in the tailrace as far as water being let out or the how high the gates are open?
Like a nice drift but not to slow, on the other hand don't want to go when it's gushing.
Would like to try the new pier on the Hemlock road side, looks cool!
Plan on hitting it Sat/Sun before buck opens. Usually fish Tionesta outlflow or the river at Kibbe's. Kibbe's usully yeilds a few northern real quick and then stops, want to try something different.
I can get on the Army corp sight and make my decision if I knew the right numbers.
Thanks to all in advance

Today the Army corp is letting out 3370 CFS, cubic feet per second I assume, for the local what does the tailrace looklike, fishable or perfect?

Its fishable around 2500--3000 cfs. 1150 real good wading. It depends on if you want to float it or wade it.

There will be days when fishing is better than ones optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
