pup with some birds from 1-19

Took my pup out for his first goose hunt (he'll be 9 months on the 27th)...He did good on ducks so I wanted to test him on some geese...




The worst day hunting or fishing will always be better then the best day at school or work!

    Very nice. Mika retreaved her first goose at 11 months. Swam out for the stick I threw and saw the goose.
    Then swam around it a few times before grabbing the very tip of the wing. Great feeling to see that.

    Thanks guys...definitely a great feeling when all the work comes together...especially on MY first pup...i trained my families lab, but after going to Iraq for a year and nobody keeping up on the training, she became a house dog (she is my grandmother dog tho).

    Heading out now for round 2 and see how he does today...
