canadohta lake

has anybody fished canadohta lake. we are heading out there on thursday and was wondering if anybody had some pointers that they wouldnt mind sharing with me? i have never fished out there but heard that it is a lake with alot of structure on the botom. pretty much just looking for a good place to go out and get started. anything would be greatly appreciated. i also might b able to help a fellow angler out on another lake if i can.
thanks to all and b safe out there....

Go to the PFC boat launch....walk strait out until you find the dropoff (maybe 23 FOW if memory serves). Fish the weed line -

Funny you should ask. I just fished it yesterday for the 1st time. Went off @ the public access next to Sally's Store. Which would be almost directly accross from the PFC access. 5 people in our group and we caught 20 perch the largest was 4". yes 4" We had twenty tipups set from 8:30am until 4:00pm. We had atotal of 3 flags all day. Baits were emerald shiners and various sizes of suckers 4"-8" set everywhere from 18" off the bottom to 4' below the surface of the ice. In water ranging from 3' - 22'. We moved the depths of the bait all day with no success. We caught all of the perch jigging. You could literally catch perch all day smaller than the bait you were using!!!! In every hole we drilled. Polluted with small perch!!!!! That was disappointing, as we wanted to get a big muskie on the ice. If you are not from the area or have never been. You must stop @ Van Tassels's Timberland Bait Bait Shop. The best shop for ice fishing gear I have seen in the area. Ask for Jerry...All in all we had a good day.... and we will attend the tourney he is having a few weeks. Ice was 5-6" with 4" good clear and 1"-2" honeycombed with 8" of snow on top of the ice.

this is not exact but i drilled many holes and if my memory serves me right this is what i gathered. just to throw a idea out there. if anybody can add any depths save it and add them with paint and repost your updated one maybe we can have a good idea of where to fish if we all work together
