piles of flatheads

Found this vid on you tube. Not sure what body of water this is,but pretty cool check it out here is a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMtBNmLwM-Q this is in the winter months. Dave

    The only ones that are flatheads are the ones on the bottom, not moving, laying around the logs.

    The rest, the big school swimming around, are channel cats.

    Thats pretty neat video. My buddies do alot of flathead fishing and i dabble around with it myself from time to time. They say that the flatheads will become so dorment in the winter that they will actually be covered with silt flowing along the bottom of the river. Pretty cool.

    i have seen that in the alleghany river. if you get in the deep slack water youll find em like that. we caught 2 on saturday through the ice on the river about 6 ft down in 17ft of water. pretty cool to see.

    yes we have a few spot to go on the river. do real good on walleyes just before dark.its not as bad as you think. lol
