Clairion River Waterfowl

Hey guys, I've been thinking about trying for ducks and geese on the clairon for a few years now since I have a camp up that way. Now that I have a dog, I think it may be a possibility. Never hunted a river before and was wondering if it is worth a shot. Any tips on how to use decoys is moving water would be great. Or any other river hunting advice would also be appreciated. Thanks
