How about the first Saturday in Pa. deer season again. Seemed like a good date last year as far as fish available and crowds?

I'm thinking late fall-ish mainly so we don't have to contend with below freezing temps after fishing. It will be more comfortable, we can build a fire and cook outside. Just my thoughts.....I'm thinking early to mid Nov???

Forgot to mention...My place would be fine again this year. Only catch is Uncle John's will charge $5 for parking per vehicle, so some of you may want to pack into a few vehicles and pitch in for parking....hope this isn't too much of an inconvenience.

Well November sounds good to me only thing will be the crowds. So somebody throw a date out there and we'll see if it works for everyone. I'm pretty flexible only weekend in November that doesnt work for me is the first weekend as I will be out of town. Once we get a date we will figure out the food again, and I will put the list up of who's attending it will be on the first post.

I think the 27th is still too late...besides its the holiday weekend and it would probably be even more crowded, if at all possible. How about a weekend smack dab in the middle of November? The 13th or 20th?

p.s. - Bob, I'll be bringing more of my homemade wine up this year too! I made Syrah, Merlot, Zinfandel and Riesling....any flavor preferences? Oh yeah, I'll remember to bring some drink boxes for Scott too!

I'm hopefully bringing another "special guest" along this year....He said he was in when I last talked to him, but you just never know with Adam!! Yep, the maker of Paine Falls centerpins himself!

    Scott,
i would like to attend but i dont have a clue how to use a Pin. ask Bob(mxdad)about me trying to cast his a few years ago...thank God he had patience and noone was around to see it.

Anyone can come and we can help you out or you can just fish with whatever gear you prefer. This is all about getting together with a bunch of good people and having a good time. Most all of us fish with a pin but a few don't. If you'd like to try the pin out I have a couple rigs hopefully I will have another one in a couple weeks. So I say come out, fish, and have a good time.

The 20th works for me.  I may have an extra "practice" pin, special Ukrainian model, for someone to use.  Unless there is a woman attached to the end of it.  Paul....Can I reserve a spot on the floor pad at you place that night?
