Ultimately the only thing that matters is if you like them or not. With that being said there are many factor that come into play known as the elements. Take some time to consider the elements in which you'll be fishing. Personally I fish a lot and have a good idea what to expect when I'm headed out fishing. I have several options like hip boots, pant waders, chest wader and different options for my feet and traction. For me studded or cleated boots are a go to.
