Was there today for a few hours. Water is up a little from last week. Fishing still tough. Hopefully it will be better by the weekend. Think i'll do some trout fishing in the river tuesday.

I am the older fella that is there a lot . That was me in the launch bay. Checking the brush to see if the fish have moved in from the channel yet. Not many fish there YET. I'd say by next week, mid-week, they should be schooling over the brush. The seagulls were picking the dying shad off the surface. I think i sat there just watching them for bout 1/2 an hour. Too much free time, huh? How'd you do?

. Ya , I guess we all are the older fella to somebody. I shot at some geese but missed, lol, must be slow reaction. Theres a guy named Charley, 80-something , that is there all the time that trolls alot. His boat is 18ft and red. The lake was smooth and very beautiful, I should have fished instead.
